How TSC Awards Marks During The Interviews - 2020 Score Sheet.

In the new recruitment programme released by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC),  candidates with masters. Degree and applicants with first-class honours stand high shots of safeguarding TSC jobs.

An additional factor that will enhance the possibilities of one to earning TSC teaching employment is the duration of stay since graduation. Nonetheless, teaching subjects combinations also matters a lot.

Combinations such as Physics/Chemistry, Chemistry/Biology and Biology/Agriculture stand a great chance of being absorbed by the Commission because they are few.

Applicants will have to produce their required documents during the interview.

Graduate, Degree BA + Post Graduate Degree or BSC + PGDE Masters Teachers, Diploma or Dip. Tech. Education trained teaches score sheet is as follows:

Kindly note that teachers who are in the internship programme will have an added benefit of ten marks.

Here is the score sheet that will be used by TSC during 2020 employment for Secondary school teachers

Awarding of marks according to the length of stay after graduation.

It is very significant to note that period of stay since graduating is momentous and it is where most candidates will always win a lot of points.

2020 and later 10 Marks 
MAXIMUM SCORE of 50 marks

 

Rewarding of marks for Length of stay after graduation for those formerly employed by TSC

2015 to 2014 30 marks
2013 to 2012 25 marks
2011 to 2010 20 marks
2009 to 2008 15 marks
2007 and before 10 marks
MAXIMUM SCORE of 50 marks

NB: For expectations of achieving part B, year of graduation of professional training
(BED or PGDE) whose certificate is used to score part A of this score sheet
defines the duration of stay but not the year of enhancement. 

 

Importance of Communication skill and Co-curricular certificate of participation during the  TSC Job interviews.

A co-curricular certificate of participation will give you a higher chance of achieving more marks and breaking a tie.

Area of awarding SCORE
 Ability to communicate.  2 marks
Co-curricular activities certificate 1 mark
Exam Record/students performance record. 1 mark
Special Talent(s) 1 mark
MAXIMUM SCORE of 5 marks

NB: No candidate should score zero in this section even if you remain silent. Good communication skills are Important considering the high level of competition during the interview.

Lastly, have a great mastery of content In your teaching subject areas.

That number nine i think is fake, and why do they want all these documents and yet we scanned and send to them, it is just a formality which disadvantages other, most of the doctors are on strike, who will fill that form, why not private hospitals? Even the public hospital doctors do not examin, they just fill the form, what they yearn for is just money.
