Ministry Of Education Seeks Refund Of Unspent Co-curricular funds

The Ministry Of Education through The Principal Secretary of Education Dr Belio R. Kipsang is seeking the refund of unspent Co-curricular funds that was disbursed on the month of March 2020.  

On the same month, President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered all schools in Kenya to be closed to help curb the spread of Corona (Covid-19) Virus which paralyzed various activities that were ongoing in all learning institutions. 

"It is in this view the state directs the refund of all unspent Co-curricular funds balance, for those activities that never took place." Read part of the statement. 

 All Regional, county and subcounty Directors of Education have been asked to make sure that all the refunds are made by 10th of June this year so that they can be used in other areas.
