The top candidate this year is from Murang'a High School, Simuyu Robinson Wanjala. The second candidate is Wasonga Allan Odongo from Agoro Sare High School. The third one is Sharon Terer from Kenya High School.

287 individuals have canceled results, 211 had unauthorized materials including writing on white shirts. 45 mobile phones confiscated. 652 candidates sat the exam in hospitals after delivery. Bungoma County leading with 43 candidates who did exam after delivery.
CEO of TSC Nancy Macharia advised teachers against abetting exam cheating, saying TSC doesn't support any form of exam malpractices involving teachers.
"We are disappointed by reports of teachers engaging in exam cheating because teaching is a noble professional."
On school reopening Education Cabinet Secretary Magoha said Schools have opened for the 2020 3rd term, and are expected to close on the 10th of July for a week-long holiday before starting a new year.
The new year he said entails the rollout of CBC grade 5. There will be 5 examinations this year. KCSE 2021 will be sat in March 2022.
Further, the government has bought and distributed sanitary pads to public Primary schools worth Shs.490billion to cater for girls in the schools. He said the girls were given sanitary pads cater for nine months.
